Each club is welcome to host one or two four-a-side tournaments across the season. These aim to give players an opportunity to play in the smaller-side tournament, where they should get more touches of the ball. They also aim to give new players a first taste of tournament volleyball and to bring players from other clubs to each team's home venue, usually at the time of one of the host club's regular training sessions.
There will be a mixture of "enter as a team" and "enter as a player" tournaments across the season.
For "enter as a team" tournaments find three teammates (usually from the your club) and come along; you'll then play with those players for the tournament.
For "enter as a player" tournaments, encourage as many as your clubmates to come along to make sure there are plenty of familiar faces. Then, after every match the teams will be swapped so that you get to play with different teammates in each match, including players from other clubs. The tournaments usually last for three hours (including warm-up) and you can expect to be playing for at least half of the time and often considerably more!
Once confirmed, dates for the tournaments will be added to the Suffolk Volleyball Association Calendar and a link will appear on the left hand size of this page for details.
