Suffolk Sport maintains a comprehensive database of funding opportunities that are available in our area. This can be accessed here.
Sportivate is a £32 million National Lottery-funded project that is part of the Play strand of Sport England's London 2012 mass participation legacy programme ‘Places People Play'. It will run until March 2015. Sportivate can provide funding to run a 6 week project for 14-25 year olds. For more information, click here.
The Sport England Small Grants Programme can make awards of between £300 and £10,000 to not-for-profit organisations to help more young people (aged 14+) and adults take and keep a sporting habit for life. A number of awards each of over £5,000 have been made for the establishment of volleyball clubs around the country. If you're interested, take a look at the guidance here and get in touch with the Suffolk Volleyball Association for more advice. We should be able to put you in touch with coaches etc. who could contribute towards your aims.
Further sources of funding are available for juniors and club members wishing to take courses, clubs and young volunteers. Please see the relevant sections of this website.
